Family Dedication

Today we celebrate family! What a joy to welcome new members to our Southside family.

It is also a joy to come alongside families as they dedicate their children to the Lord. May we always walk alongside you with love, support and prayer as you raise your beautiful children.

God's blessings are abundant!

My Favorite Sins - Complacency

Today we continue with the My Favorite Sins series and focus on the sin of Complacency. Complacency can be defined as a feeling of security or pleasure, making you unaware of potential "danger". For every follower of Jesus, sometimes we run out of gas and come to a place where we feel comfy, cozy and complacent with where we are spiritually. But there really is no such thing as a "coasting Christian".

Are you ready to purposely move forward?

Do you want more of him?

My Favorite Sins - Worry

Today, we continue with our My Favorite Sins series. It is no surprise that WORRY was identified as a sin that a vast majority of us struggle with. There are endless things we can worry about: family, health, finances, the state of our nation. When our concern with these things becomes consuming worry, it is a sin that keeps us from trusting the promises and power of God!

Are we ready to stop the strangle-hold of worry and allow the Truth of God's Word to change our thinking?

My Favorite Sins - Disobedience

Today we continue our series My Favorite Sins, based on the sins we identified as a struggle way back in January during our Prayer Walk journey. Our focus today will be on Disobedience to God's Word. Why do we disobey? The reality is most of us here want to obey God, but we allow our flesh, our brokenness, our weaknesses, our feelings to hold us back. Are we missing out on God's best for us because of our disobedience? We know what to do... are we willing to do it?

My Favorite Sins - Judge

Today, we begin a new series, My Favorite Sins, based on the sins we identified as a struggle way back in January during our Prayer Walk journey. The first one we will tackle is judging others. We know what the world tells us about this - just get along and stop judging each other! But more importantly, what does the Bible say? Let's unpack this together...
