Fall is in the air!  Trees are beginning to change color, nights are crisp and cool, and kids are back in school.  At Southside, this means launching different ministries and opportunities to connect.  This Sunday you will continue to hear about these opportunities and how they drive us to our purpose of connecting with God, Each Other, Our Community and World.

If we were created for community, why do we work so hard to isolate ourselves and be so independent?  Let's discuss that this week...

As summer comes to a close, our nation takes a day to "rest" from our work and laboring. But as Christians, we have a special call to "Kingdom Work"... how does this look different from our "worldly" work?

Pastor Chris will encourage us to press on as we continue the work God has set before us to do. (Genesis 3:17-19)

Reality is setting in... it's back to school time! This Sunday, several educator share stories from the"front lines" of our area schools. As students and teachers flood back through the doors of schools around our community, our desire is to walk alongside them with prayerful support. The next generation of Jesus followers need our encouragement and intentional guidance as they navigate this world and strive to be more like Jesus.
